Creator Rate Calc Guide
About Creator Rate Calc
Creator Rate Calc is an independent, self-funded project built and maintained by the small team behind the site. We are not agents, managers or financial advisers, and we do not claim to be. You will not find invented credentials, a stock-photo expert or a fabricated "industry report" anywhere on the site.
- Free, no sign-up

It exists because the rate calculators creators find online almost all share the same flaw: they hand you an "average rate" with no dated source behind it. Those numbers circulate between sites, get repeated in articles, and end up anchoring real negotiations. We decline to add to the pile.
So this site publishes no market-rate figures. Every CPM, per-video price and uplift in the tools is an input you set, labelled "your assumption" in the interface, pre-filled only with an illustrative placeholder to overwrite. What we provide is the arithmetic and the structure of a quote: views × CPM ÷ 1,000, deliverables, usage rights, exclusivity, hook variations, raw footage and usage months, each itemised so you can see where the total comes from. That arithmetic is covered by automated tests run against worked examples before anything is published.
The one external source we cite is the US Federal Trade Commission's guidance on disclosing a material connection to a brand, linked where it is relevant and rechecked against the FTC site at least twice a year. If a calculation looks wrong or a page is out of date, report it through the contact page with the numbers you entered and we will correct it on the page.
Why this site exists
Creator pricing is opaque by design. Rates are traded privately, brands rarely publish budgets, and the advice available publicly tends to be either a follower-count multiplier that ignores how reach actually works, or a screenshot of one deal that tells you nothing about your own.
These calculators take a different approach: they make the inputs explicit. You choose the CPM, the deliverables, the usage window and the exclusivity terms, and the tool assembles a package price from them. The output is only as good as your assumptions, and it says so.
What the numbers are, and are not
Every figure is arithmetic on values you entered. Nothing here is market data, a benchmark, or a claim about what brands pay; we have no access to that, and anyone presenting such figures without a methodology should be treated carefully.
What the tools do give you is consistency. Pricing the same way each time means you can explain a quote, adjust it when reach changes, and avoid the common mistake of pricing UGC work as though it were an influencer post.
How to use them well
Use recent average views rather than your best post, price usage separately from production, and put exclusivity in the quote because it removes income you could otherwise earn. If a brand asks for more months or more platforms later, that is a new line item, not a favour.
There is no sign-up and nothing you enter is stored or sent anywhere; the calculators run entirely in your browser.
